I'm 6'5", so you can see this is a big yucca!

Yucca baccata, not doing well after winter.  I think I will remove it, it has never been in a very good spot. 

Local buckwheat, this maybe my favorite one, now if I can find an id for it.  

My dog found this little guy on the porch, he was under the porch broom.  Dogs seem to have different bark for snakes.
