Spring flowers, better late than never.

  A few spring flowers bloom even with nights dipping below freezing. The freezing nights I can handle, but the weekly winds  I could do without.  Every bit of free time I have has been spent on removing tumble weeds out of the yard and into the burn pit.  I wish the brush would grow back and block the mass army of marching seed spreading zombies!

    Awesome penstemons and critters! Is the big mass of white Linanthus (Linanthastrum) nuttallii?

      I belive it is Leptodactylon pungens? Smells strong when in flower and flowers in the eve and morning.

    Looks like a great bloom finally! We had the worst early spring ever, but summer is shaping up well now that the afternoon rains have come back!
