A few things here and there.

Most of the prickly-pears have been in bloom and what a beautiful show.  I think their colors are some of the prettiest in the plant kingdom and I'm sure that few would disagree. They are just like glowing embers of fire in the drab background of rock and chalky soils.

  1. What gets me as always, is how nicely-maintained and neat your desert plantings are, and how you've made use of all the rock from probably every time you use a shovel, I mean pick ax and digging bar.

I've only hit 100F once, but endless mid-90's. You must have forgotten about last winter by now?

  2. Thanks David, dont look too closely or you will see all the weeds in there.lol

Yes, I have almost forgot about that crappy winter! Now we have been with the perfect weather, but every other week we have hit a couple warm days. Next week they say 100 or even a 105+ then I hope we go back too the 80's. Funny here... highs in the low 70's one week and the next in the 90's+
