A dry, but frosty December.
Cercocarpus ledifolius
Cylindropuntia, garden volunteer.
Yucca brevifolia
The pond has been fun too watch over the past month. It has froze, and thawed a couple of times now.
Yucca baccata
Yucca brevifolia
Yucca glauca
I went outside today hoping to get a few pics of the late December snow, but with a high of 39F most of it melted. We only had the one snow storm, dropping a whopping total of 3 inches on the ground. For the majority of the month most of the days were covered white from frost.
Opuntia basilaris
Echinocereus triglochidiatus inermis
Sclerocactus parviflorus
Opuntia gilvescens?
I had several Mule deer visit the garden this winter, and one thought the cactus fruit tasted good.
Opuntia engelmannii x basilaris
I hope too transplant this Yucca brevifolia (sucker) later this season.
Yucca gloriosa 'variegata'

Opuntia basilaris
Another cylindropuntia volunteer

I had a bigger one in the past, but died shortly after the 2007 fire.
Opuntia basilaris var. brachyclada
Cylindropuntia ramosissima
Echinocereus trig. "white sands"
A recoveringYucca brevifolia that froze to the ground last winter.
Yucca hybrid "Big Mama"

Good to hear you weren't too wet and snowy. The coatings of frost on everything is almost foreign to me in NM!
