    Frogs would be welcome, lizards too...but if I saw snakes like that in my garden I think I would fast become a non-gardener.

    I can understand the fear of snakes, but all the spieces here in my garden are non venomous. (They run from people.)
    They are very good at keeping rodent populations down, and they also eat grasshoppers.
    PS most people never see them, but I have good eye for all things reptile. lol
